Yvonne Hughes was a young mum when she was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011. Like most people who are diagnosed with a serious illness, she immediately started searching for more information on what to expect. When she couldn’t find what she was looking for, she turned her skill as a writer to this – her own book.

Produced and distributed by the Foundation, One Piece of Advice is a collection of short, pithy nuggets of advice about breast cancer, gathered though Yvonne’s own experiences, meetings and conversations with health professionals, other women and their families. The Foundation is proud to have supported this valuable resource for anyone going through breast cancer or supporting a loved one.
